FAQs

Do you provide domain names and hosting?

I can help research and purchase domain names. However it is always best to create your own account with a registra to buy them such as Namecheap. We can then point your domain to the hosting we provide. We host websites on our own server and use cloudflare as a CDN.

How long should the website take to build?

This depends on several factors such as the amount of pages, organising content, revisions and testing. Together we can agree on a timeframe for website launch and review as we go along. Communication is key to getting you online as quickly as possible.

How do I create content for a new website?
You can be provided with a questionnaire which can tell us more information about your business. A copywriter can then use this to create content for your pages. The content will be SEO optimised for specific keywords.

Images can also be sourced for you from specific stock image websites which is in line with your industry and brand identity.

You can of course provide your own copy and images.

What are maintenance costs once the website is built?
There are standard hosting costs billed once per year. As a minimum a monthly fee of £35 can be setup to do basic checks in regards to the theme and plugins that might be used. If further requirments are needed it will be charged at £60 per hour (As from Jan 2022).

Another option I provide is a tutorial to manage the website once built, this cost is accounted for within the quotation and charged per hour.

For a simple 4 page website it would cost around £500.
